It started with a concept. Nepal had no retail dal and pulses brand to call its own, so to launch a new product line into that gap we worked closely with Jain Foods Processing. After many iterations we landed on Upahar: a brand that looks truly home-grown, with every asset signalling made in Nepal and an emphasis on quality and transparency worn on the outside.
